Sherry and Family, I am so very sorry for your tragic loss, there are no words, just take comfort in what a great son you had, all those that loved him and your friends and family who support you during this difficult time. Memories will carry you through, and I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Erik, he will watch over you all. He was a hero on earth and now he's your angel in heaven. Erik, I love you and will miss you for the rest of my days. You were my only nephew who I admired and called a hero. Thank you from my heart for your service to our country, for your heroic service and sacrifice. I am most proud of the man you became and the loving father you were to your lil man baby Erik. our hearts go out to the extended family in this tragic loss. Although we never knew Erik, we are close friends with Jay Francis 111 and his wife Deb up here in NH. Thru them we feel for their whole family and the loss you are all are faced with now. Words are beyond comprehension at this point to try to console you. Know we are there in spirit and pray for you all.

I just remember being stuck at NIH during the snow storms trying to pass time by having fun. I enjoyed every night we worked together. Every special moment we had. I loved every smile we shared together. I will always remember you and pray for your son and family.
